Body is Voice is about discovering ways to bring movement, breath and voice together.
The work offers tools and pathways to tap into our resources and to explore the quality of sounds, movement and stillness inside the different spaces of the body. The idea is to develop ourselves towards a creative state where movement and voice are equally present ways of expression.
Meridian Stretching is a series of postures and movement sequences which activate and balance the meridian channels of our body. It was created by Shizuto Masunaga, the founder of Zen Shiatsu. Meridian Stretching is both relaxing and stimulating the energy flow between all our important organs and physical functions. A calm and deep breathing plays a natural role while doing the postures.
Chakra Toning is based on the vibration of the 7 chakras. Every chakra vibrates in a slightly different frequency and resonates with a specific vowel. Concentrating on one chakra with its colour and vowel at a time, we can open, purify, stimulate and calm down these vital energy centres. Chakra Toning is a beautiful way to resonate with yourself and in a group as well. Special singing skills are not needed!
Yin Yoga is a slow and meditative type of yoga which originates from the Taoist tradition. The sitting and lying poses are held between 3 – 6 minutes and are accompanied by natural breathing. Yin yoga works on the connective tissue of the body -fascia, tendons and ligaments – and influences the energy flow in our meridians in a deep way.
